Anytime Anywhere Meditation
Meditation does not have to stay only on the cushion. Practice can become part of ordinary life, gently helping us reconnect with awareness, compassion, and wisdom wherever we are.
Meditation in Everyday Life
Meditation can be practiced anytime and anywhere. It invites us to notice simple moments such as breathing, listening, walking, pausing, resting, or meeting the challenges of daily life as part of practice.
Sometimes, practice happens in a quiet room. Sometimes, it can also happen while washing dishes, walking to the car, waiting in line, or taking one small breath before responding to what is happening.
Meditation can become less about fitting an idea of what meditation is supposed to look like, and more about learning how to stay with life as it unfolds.
Simple. Practical.
Woven into Life.
AAM approaches meditation as a path of discovery rather than another way to fix or improve ourselves.
No previous meditation experience or particular religious background is required.
What is Anytime Anywhere Meditation?
Anytime Anywhere Meditation (AAM) is a practical meditation program created by Mingyur Rinpoche to make meditation more accessible and relevant to everyday life. Rooted in the ancient Buddhist teachings of Tibet, the practices themselves are non-religious and open to people of all backgrounds.
At the heart of AAM is the understanding that awareness, love and compassion, and wisdom are qualities already present within us. Through simple and practical meditation exercises, the course explores how these qualities can be recognized and brought into the ordinary moments of daily life.
At Three Jewels Hale, Yawen shares the official AAM course as a Tergar Certified Anytime Anywhere Meditation Teacher and Licensed Anytime Anywhere Meditation Teacher, following Tergar’s AAM curriculum and teaching framework.
About Mingyur Rinpoche
Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche is a meditation teacher, best-selling author, and the spiritual leader of the worldwide Tergar Meditation Community. Known for his warmth, humor, and accessible approach, his teachings bring together the wisdom of Tibetan meditation traditions with insights from modern science and psychology.
Mingyur Rinpoche developed Anytime Anywhere Meditation as a practical way to help people discover awareness, love and compassion, and wisdom within everyday life. The program reflects his simple and experiential approach to meditation, inviting practice not only during quiet moments, but also within the ordinary joys, challenges, and changing circumstances of life.
Awareness · Love & Compassion · Wisdom
AAM invites us to notice the qualities already present within us and learn how to reconnect with them as we move through everyday life.
Learning to recognize the awareness already present and gently return to what is happening now.
Recognizing our natural wish for happiness and freedom from difficulty, and learning to meet ourselves and others with greater warmth and care.
Bringing curiosity to the way we see and interpret our experience, and noticing the assumptions and familiar patterns that may shape our view.
Practice for Everyday Life
Throughout the course, participants are invited to explore meditation through direct experience and notice how practice can become part of ordinary moments, including the busy, difficult, and changing parts of life.
- Explore meditation as a way of getting to know ourselves, rather than another way to fix or improve ourselves.
